1) "Waterproof"

The Plate B is made of very durable 316L marine grade stainless steel and is capable of being fully submerged in a fully saturated saline solution for 30 days without causing sufficient damage to render the Plate B unrecognizable. Even though we are confident in the "waterproof" nature of Plate B, we would never advise customers to risk the security of their private keys by testing this condition with Plate B containing your private key information. 2) "Fireproof"

Plate B is made of very durable 316L marine grade stainless steel and is capable of being completely engulfed in flames for 30 minutes, at temperatures up to 1400C/2550F, before Plate B will begin to melt and warp beyond recognition.
